Abstract

|
The 21th century has witnessed the emergence of Nanotechnology and Biotechnology. A fine merging of both these sciences will contribute to the medical field for diagnostics and treatment. Nanotechnology would help early detection of diseases using nano-biosensor and enable target specific drug delivery system. Moreover, extremely fine electrodes can be made for brain studies using Nanotechnology. This will help to observe the delicate neuronal activities for making a precise brain functional map that would contribute to psychological and cognitive studies.
